Book Review: “Primal” by Mark Batterson
Mark Batterson is someone who knows how to say an amazing thing in just a few words. I look at his writings as not only an inspiration, but as something that challenges me to search out my own personal values and trajectory of my life. One thing I know — God wants me to be available to be an instrument that is not necessarily always shiny and unused. I remember that I kind of started that way and learned to get scratched and dirty in my early faith adventures. My prayer is to rekindle that basic, heart-felt desire to allow God to “do it again!”

Overview of Primal:
We have a tendency to complicate Christianity. Jesus simplified it: Love God with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength. If we are to live out the essence of Christianity, we must commit to being great at this Great Commandment.
